I am running for Robbinsdale School Board because I believe the current school board has failed in their duties and responsibilities, showing dismal results with budget management, student achievement and community trust.
District 281 has lost 5,000 students in the past 7 years. Each student lost represents lost revenue, money we won’t have in the budget, we cannot sustain the loss. Action must be taken now to save District 281 from becoming state managed due to the board's poor money management.
The action items needed to prevent future decline includes: Increasing enrollment, decreasing expenses and building community trust.
Time to stop hoping things will get better; positive change is needed now for positive change to happen. I am a catalyst for creating positive change, the spark starts here.
It is not unreasonable to expect excellence and accountability from the School Board, you have a voice with your vote. Hold the School Board accountable, vote for positive change, vote for me on or before November 8, 2022. Thank you.
